The Coronavirus situation has unfortunately interrupted the meetings for this class in their habitual form.
Although we have had a break in our regular meetings, I am sure we will be able to complete this course without too much difficulty.
Rest assured that its only purpose is simply to raise your awareness as to the importance of ethical issues in an academic environment. Unlike other classes, this class does not ask you to memorize things or to develop particular skills. It is, in short, a class designed for debates and reflection.

Please find below the information needed for completing this class.
· YOUR ONLY OBLIGATION in order to complete this course and get a pass is to write one 3-PAGE ACADEMIC ESSAY (1 page = 2000 characters with spaces or 270-280 words).
You may choose any topic related to academic ethics and integrity (e.g., unethical and disrespectful behavior like bullying, corruption, cheating for exams, plagiarism, discrimination etc.).
The purpose of the essay is for you to debate such an issue and support with examples and logical reasoning the personal argument you are trying to make.
For extra points / top mark I am going to appreciate your ability to use at least 2 academic sources and employ an academic writing style (such as MLA, APA, Chicago, Oxford etc. - see https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/
